Francesca believes in every individual’s inherent capacity to live a fulfilling and purposeful life despite inevitable challenges and is passionate about empowering people with the knowledge, tools and strategies to overcome limitations and live congruently with their core values.

  • Based on the Sunshine Coast, Francesca offers supportive counselling and clinical treatment via 50 min in person or online virtual appointments to individuals of varying ages, including children over 10 years old, adolescents and adults, for a variety of psychological challenges including:

    • Anxiety Disorders e.g. GAD, Perfectionism, Social Anxiety, OCD, Phobias and Panic

    • Mood Disorders e.g. Depression, Bipolar, Adjustment Disorder

    • Post traumatic stress Disorder including Complex trauma

    • Stress and Burnout

    • Grief and loss

    • Addictions, Anger and Impulse Control Disorders

    • Self harm

    • Sleep disturbance/Insomnia

    • Low Self esteem and identity

    • Eating Disorders

    • Parenting training

    • Interpersonal difficulties e.g. poor social skills

  • Francesca practices with an individually tailored approach, is attachment and trauma informed, employing a variety of evidence based treatment modalities including:

    • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

    • Schema Therapy

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

    • Mindfulness and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

    • Somatic Therapy

    • Compassion Focussed Therapy

    • EMDR- Level 2
